Meet Our Wedding Party!

These are the members of the dream team who will help make our wedding a success.

Bridesquad: Team Coyne

Megan Coyne

Maid of Honor

The consummate big sister, Megan has been performing 'Maid of Honor duties' for years. The Maid of Honor basically makes sure the bride makes it down the aisle and doesn't go crazy in the lead up to the big day, right? Well Megan has been taking care of my health and sanity for years now.  She is the reason I can do more than simply boil water, she is the reality check to my lack of street smarts and always on hand to let me know that "No Kate, just no. You can not wear that in public." I am beyond excited to have my first and longest friend with me on my Wedding Day.

Michael Patrick Coyne

Bridesman

A blacksmith, a veritable video game historian and collector and a man who knows his way around a grill and cast iron skillet, Michael is a man of many talents. As the youngest of the Coyne siblings, he has at times served as model of dress up dresses, Barbie play dates and Disney marathons, most of which he participated with some form of consent. I love the way our relationship has changed from bickering childhood siblings to lovingly teasing adult friends and I am so incredibly grateful for the friendship that Tony and Mike have created in the last few years and so happy to have him with us as we get married.

Megan Zampa

Bridesmaid

Having known Megan for over three decades, technically as long as I've known my own brother, Megan is as much a member of my family as any of my siblings. Having grown up along side me,  Megan is in the photo of my first day of school and in the pictures from my 8th birthday party. I can't imagine not having such a long lasting and permanent fixture in my life being a part of my wedding.

Amy Drake

Bridesmaid

I am a firm believer that people drop into your life at specific moments in time. I met Amy in 2008 at a Museum Studies Program. Having just graduated from college, and feeling in need of an adventure, Amy and  I moved half way down the coast to NC and took on a year long  unpaid internship that provided housing but not much else. There is a fair bit of nostalgia in thinking back on that time, but living in my first apartment outside of school with very little heat and working two jobs so we could feed ourselves is something that most definitely solidifies a friendship. Two years in grad school followed by six years of post grad  add up to nearly a decade of friendship with someone that always challenges me to be better.

Brooke Steinhauser

Bridesmaid

Broooooke! A kindred soul if ever there was one. Brooke indulges or at times feeds into my cat lady tendencies. She is always up for a thrift store scavenger hunt (which inevitably ends up with Brooke finding some rather dashing Pendleton jacket while I am drawn to the dress, probably hand made by some high school student as part of a class project...). After countless graduate school dinners eaten on the floor of our shared kitchen along with a bottle of wine and a large chocolate rabbit Brooke has become one of my dearest friends. She lights up the lives she touches and I am delighted she will be standing with me on my wedding day.

Audrey Wolfe

Bridesmaid

A magical unicorn of sunshine and light, Audrey is kindness personified. I have never been greeted by Audrey with anything less than an earsplitting grin and a bone crushing hug. A genuine friend and definitely a born caretaker, Audrey can often be found at a party topping off glasses, passing out water or you know, casually making chili in case anyone happens to get peckish on New Years Eve while the rest of us are three glasses of champagne deep.   I love how Audrey loves and am blessed to have her in my life.

Erica Sullivan

Bridesmaid / Flower Gal

A friendship formed in Middle School and lasting decades, Erica and I have known each other nearly 20 years. She celebrated my 16th birthday with me in NYC where we were mistaken for sisters (not for the first or last time). We went to different colleges but promised to study abroad together for a semester in Ireland, and did so in 2007. She married her high school sweetheart and I was honored to be a part of that day. And she made me an Aunt for the very first time when she and Patrick had Sean and again with Ryan. Erica is a cornerstone in my life, someone who has shaped my past and is a fixture in my future.

Our Officiant

Kelsey Mullen

Wedding Officiant

A bard by talent if not trade, Kelsey has an unparalleled gift for writing, often times about those closest to her. As we considered who to officiate our wedding we realized that we desperately wanted someone to marry us who is a part of our lives, who knows us and has seen us grow as a couple. Always kind, thoughtful and eloquent, we are so excited to see the ceremony she crafts for us.

Groomsdudes: Team Matera

Joe Matera

Best Man

The man. The myth. The legend. Joseph Matera is not only Tony's younger (but not little) brother, but is the rock of their dynamic duo-ship that fought against the tyranny of their parents. Ok, not really, but they were an awesome team growing up together - going on adventures to find treasure hidden in the neighborhood woods, engaging in intense battles to make the other laugh while brushing their teeth before bedtime, and co-building the largest pop culture reference library that the human mind could possibly possess. Joe is not only one of the most hilarious people you will ever meet, but also the kindest and coolest.
...Except for when he's being a stupid butthead. Little brothers, amirite?

 Matt Matero

Groomsman

This handsome devil has been one of Tony's closest friend's since Tony was born. Their parents were all friends since high school, so naturally, Matt and Tony grew up being unofficial family members. In fact, they adopted the mutual nickname "brudda" that their fathers before them have been using for each other for years. Matt also holds the record for most sleepovers with Tony, spending so many nights of their childhood playing video games, watching movies, and falling asleep during said movies. Tony and Matt have fought through many Nerf Wars together, battled with Spider Man in their backyard pools, and even ran a Super Spartan Race together. Tony's brudda could not be more welcome to the team.

Rob O'Neill

Groomsman

Much more than just a cousin related on both sides of the family (not in a weird way), Rob has been like an older brother to Tony. After moving up to Boston, Tony connected with Rob in a way they never had before. Rob showed Tony the ropes of Boston life, they've been writing their own music album for years, and shared their love for Boston sports including their first Bruins Stanley Cup championship together. They pushed their limits and signed up for their first Spartan Race together, creating their legendary team, Swole Train. Rob and Tony have continued to push each other through multiple Spartan Beasts being a mutual source of inspiration for their awesomeness. Tony's Han Brolo is a cornerstone of the Groomsdudes.

 Mike Brown

Groomsman

Mike and Tony began their friendship the first day of college orientation. Spanning across the northeast from Hoboken to Boston, their bromance could not be extinguished, and Mike has been one of the greatest and most impactful individuals in Tony's life. From hiking trips to Tenacious D concerts and serenades to Maine truck stops, the two have been inseparable. Additionally, Mike is directly responsible for Tony's induction into the Somerbridge friend circle, where Tony found an awesome group of people that he could not be more grateful for. This also led to group Halloween beerfests, which in turn led to Tony meeting Kate.
Mike is not the greatest groomsman in the world, he is just a tribute.

Graham Rogers

Groomsman

The Goose to Tony's Maverick. The Chewie to his Han. The provider of endless stoke. This tall drink of electrolytes (he hates water, so Kate loves him) provides the energy and enthusiasm to the team. Also legal support as he is a super fancy lawyer man. Tony lived with Graham for a wonderful year and in that time, there wasn't one day that Graham wasn't doing something active. Graham has always provided the motivation to get Tony off his butt and get out doing something awesome - whether it be jogs around Somerbridge, shredding powder on mountains, accidentally checking guys during hockey, or providing whiskey shots the nights before Tony's Spartan Races. This legend is a welcome addition on the wedding podium.

 Sterling Wall

 Groomsman

Enter the dashing gentleman of the groomsmen. Sterling can rock a bow tie, master the most epic of crazy household technologies, and concoct the meanest of cocktails. Oh, and he's a scientist working to cure cancer. No big deal. Sterling and Tony became fast friends sharing a love for ridiculous movie quotes, intentional public awkwardness, and joining nerd forces through Star Wars and PC gaming. On top of having the name of an international spy with the attitude to boot, Sterling has been a core friend to Tony providing infinite support in terms of deliciously unique beers and endless humor. Expect Mr. Wall to bring some much needed charm and sophistication to our wedding day.
